  Kingfisher East Bengal’s goal machine Ranty Martins will be tried in midfield position  by coach Biswajit Bhattacharya ahead of the I League . The reason for such change in position is to get the striker back to form . The club have been heavily  relying on Ranty  to score goals which he have been doing so ever since he joined the Red & Gold ranks . He was the top goal scorer in I League last season with 17 goals . But sudden drop in form have left the East Bengal management and coach worrying . Ranty himself  is also not happy with his form . He have so far scored only 3 goals , all of them coming in the invitational Sk Kamal International tournament in Chittagong . With no competitive matches ahaead of the I League  , Biswajit Bhattacharya  is left with no other options but to try him in midfield . A section of club management is not happy with Ranty’s performance so far this season and want to see his ouster from the team . But the problem with releasing Ranty is he is already contracted with the club for this season . Any breach of contract might lead the club into trouble if Ranty decides to go to FIFA . Coach Biswajit Bhattacharya is left with no other options but to try getting him back to form . Asked if the club is trying  to sign Orok Orok Essien , Biswajit confirmed that the Nigerian have a issue with his visa . The East Bengal coach will be meeting with the officials in the next few days to discuss about the fourth foreigner . But for the time being Biswajit’s  main focus is to see Ranty  get back to form no sooner than later .
