XtraTime Web Desk: East Bengal have completed the signing of 23 year old Striker Ronaldo Oliveira from Salgaocar FC. Ronaldo was the top scorer of the recently concluded Goa Pro League. The contract is for three years.
“Ronaldo joins QEBFC on a permanent transfer from Salgaocar FC. After impressing the QEBFC coaching staff at his trials the talented young striker has joined the club on a 3 year contract,” the official Facebook post says.
Coming from the Salgaocar Juniors, Ronaldo made a name for himself in both the junior as well as the senior level. He caught sight of everyone with an influential performance during the Awes Cup last year where Salgaocar managed to stun the ISL side FC Pune City. It was earlier reported that Pune City were close to signing the talented Goan Striker but seems to have been taken aback due to the recent financial crisis.
