XtraTime Web Desk: Reigning champions Liverpool maintained its perfect start to the Premier League season as they came from behind to beat Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield on Monday night. Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson and Diogo Jota were on target for the Reds. The win took Jurgen Klopp’s side above Everton in second place on points table.
It was the visitors who took the lead in the 25th minute through Alexandre Lacazette. Liverpool restored parity within 3 minutes through Sadio Mane before Andrew Robertson gave the club from Anfield the lead in the 34th minute. Lacazette missed a glorious opportunity to draw midway through the second half and his miss was compounded on 88 minutes when summer signing Diogo Jota’s first goal for the club sealed a third straight wins of the season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
