XtraTime Web Desk: Premier League champions Liverpool dropped points for the first time at Anfield this season as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Burnley on Saturday. Andrew Robertson (34’) scored for the home side while Jay Rodriguez (69’) equalized for the visitors. Jurgen Klopp’s side is on 93 points from 35 matches, 21 points clear of Manchester City who thrashed Brighton and Hove Albion 5-0 in another Premier League clash.

Liverpool dominated the proceedings with Andrew Robertson giving the breakthrough in the 34th minute with a header from a cross from Fabiano. But Burnley made Liverpool rue their missed opportunities, levelling through Jay Rodriguez's fine shot on the turn in the 70th minute. The result means Liverpool need eight points from their final three games to beat Manchester City's record points tally of 100 which they achieved in 2017-18 season.
