Premier League: Jamie Vardy scores twice from penalties in Foxes 3-0 win over West Brom

XtraTime Web Desk: Jamie Vardy scored twice from penalties as Leicester City thrashed West Brom 3-0 in their opening Premier League clash of the season at The Hawthorns on Sunday. The Foxes went into the new season having dropped out of the top four and a Champions League qualification position in the final week of last season – a position they had occupied since September 2019.


New signing Castagne opened the scoring for Foxes in the 56th minute. He was signed from Atalanta for £21.5million . Last season’s Golden Boot winner Jamie Vardy put in his name on the scoresheet by converting two penalties in 74th and 84th minute of the match respectively.


In another Premier League clash Tottenham Hotspur lost at home against Everton. Dominic Calvert Lewin scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute.
