File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: After being rested by the Indian selectors ahead of a packed-Test schedule, Virat Kohli has been busy promoting Premier Futsal, a multinational Futsal league. All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel, on Saturday, expressed his concerns over Kohli, who is also the co-owner of Indian Super League (ISL) franchise FC Goa, being the brand ambassador of Premier Futsal, a league unrecognised by both FIFA and AIFF. Patel, in a Tweet, said an ISL brand ambassador could not be permitted to promote any other league in the country. The owners have to seek permission or consult the ISL before participating or engaging with any league or tournament in India. Earlier this month, AIFF had informed the Sports Ministry that the Futsal Association of India (FAI) is an unrecognised body and it is considering legal action against it, also asking its affiliated members not to co-operate with the league. FAI earlier launched a multinational league to develop the game, an improvised form of football played with five players per side on a smaller ground, indoor or outdoor. The inaugural season, for which the Indian Test skipper was roped in as brand ambassador, was scheduled to be between July 15 to 24. Notably, AIFF secretary Kushal Das had also urged the state associations to inform affiliated clubs and the players to stay out of this league proposed by the FAI.
