Xtra Time Web Desk: In what comes as good news for Rishabh Pant, he has started walking with the help of crutches. The wicket-keeper batter shared a couple of pics walking with crutches on his social media handle Twitter. He captioned the post, “One step forward, One step stronger, One step better,”
Pant was involved in a horrific road accident on December 30 on National Highway 58. He was driving his Mercedes on way to see his mother. He lost control of his car and collided with a divider. Although his car caught fire due to the incident, Pant was able to safely escape in time.
Since then, Rishabh has undergone several surgeries and according to reports, his burns are also getting better. The doctors have predicted he will need 6-9 months to recover from injuries completely. It will mean he will be in serious doubts to participate in the 50 overs World Cup scheduled to be held in October and November.
