XtraTime Web Desk: India star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has accepted the challenge of Australia cricket team captain Tim Paine as he was seen being clicked with Paine’s wife and kids at a function at the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s residence. ICC posted a tweet regarding this banter which happened between Pant and the Aussie captain during the third Test at the MCG.

During the recently concluded third Test match Paine made a joke about recruiting Rishabh Pant to BBL side Hobart Hurricanes and beside that he also made an offer to Pant that he should baby-sit his kids while he takes his wife out for a movie.

“Tell you what big MS is back in the one day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes. They need a batter.”

“Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids,” Paine had said on Friday.

The next day Pant gave it back by calling Paine a ‘temporary captain’.

“Have you ever heard of a temporary captain, Mayank?” Rishabh Pant asked his India teammate on day 4 of third Test.

“We got a special guest today. Have you ever heard of a temporary captain, ever, Mayank?”

Pant then told Jadeja, who was bowling that he didn’t need to work hard to get Paine out.

“You don’t need anything to get him out, boy. He loves to talk, that’s the only thing he can do, boy! Only, talking, talking!” Pant said on Saturday.
