Kolkata: Pragyan Ojha have been left out of the 16 member Bengal squad to take on Pakistan in the ICC World T20 warm up match . The Indian left arm spinner do not find himself selected due to his unavailability  for the match to be played on March 12 at the Eden Gardens. According to Bengal selection committee chairman Debang Gandhi, “He has made himself unavailable for the match as he has some personal commitments. He has conveyed his unavailability to the CAB president Sourav Ganguly . We were told by the president, not to keep the spinner in the squad and accordingly we did so.”

Ojha has no idea about his omission though and was left in complete darkness. “ See, I do not have any personal commitments during that time. Neither do I have any office matches left for the season as well. I am free and am available for the selection. But why I am not being picked in the squad , the selectors and the association are better placed to answer my omission from the squad,” replied a surprised Ojha .

Captain Manoj Tiwary also has no idea as to why Ojha is not picked in the 16 member squad. Tiwary though is focusing on the game against the former T20 world champions. “It will be a huge experience for us as we will be playing against the likes of Afridi and Muhammad Amir. A good performance in this match will automatically catch the eye of selectors,” feel Manoj.
