Neymar could be banned from Champions League final. Find out why?

XtraTime Web Desk: Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr. may miss the final of the Champions League final. He is at risk of missing the final after seeming to break UEFA’s coronavirus protocols.

Even though Neymar didn’t score PSG managed a 3-0 win against RB Leipzig in Tuesday’s semi-final in Lisbon. Goals from Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat saw PSG cruise past Bundesliga outfit Leipzig. Although Neymar’s finishing was lacking, he was one of his team’s best performers, hitting the post twice and troubling the Leipzig defence throughout.

After the match it was seen that Neymar is swapping shirts with Leipzig’s Marcel Halstenberg.

Reports ahead of the Champions League’s return indicated that any player who swapped shirts after the match would need to self-isolate for twelve days, which would rule the Brazilian out of the final.

PSG will take on either Bayern Munich or Lyon – who meet in this evening’s semi-final.

Bayern Munich and Lyon will compete against each other tonight and the winner of the match will face PSG for the ultimate prize.

Neymar have scored three goals and recorded four assists in his six Champions League appearance this season. So, if he misses the final, it is going to be a big blow for PSG and might bring their morale down. PSG supporters expect this to be their golden year as the club never won a Champions League before but if Neymar misses things might not go well for the Paris side.
