In Rohit's prolonged career, he has achieved many. Rohit needs 12 runs to become only the 10th batter in cricket history and the fourth from India to surpass 11,000 ODI runs, joining the elite list led by Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Virat Kohli.

Rohit has played 260 innings till now. He will become the second-fastest player to do so if he reaches the milestone in the match against Bangladesh, going ahead of none other than Sachin Tendulkar, who took 276 innings to achieve the feat. Only his long-time teammate and batting stalwart Virat Kohli has reached the mark quicker, doing so in just 222 innings.
The Men in Blue is gearing up to start the tournament with a positive note. They would try to make their presence felt. Rohit has emphasised that India’s spin attack will be crucial to their game plan on the surface of the Dubai International Stadium.
