Internet Desk : Atletico Paranaense came from behind to hold Volyn Lutsk 2-2 in an exciting encounter at the Kozhikode EMS Corporation Stadium. Memeshev and Loginov was on target for the Ukranian side while Wesley Silva and Yago registered their names on the score sheet for the Brazilian side.
Atletico almost scored at the beginning of the match. A suicidal back pass from a Volyn Lutsk player almost got wrong but the goalkeeper came to the rescue. Volyn got an early chance in the game. Captain Kravchenko fires a shot towards the goal but his shot sailed just over the bar. As times passed by, Volyn started to show some brilliant attacking football.

A brilliant through pass from Gustavo Cascardo found Wesley Silva and the youngster tapped in before dribbling past the opponent keeper to give the lead to the South American side.
Volyn immediately replied to make it 1-1. Memeshev’s header from a corner saved by the keeper but the rebound shot comes to Loginov who just tapped in to equalize. Volyn was very compact in the entire first half. Atletico defense had a very tough time managing the Volyn attacks.
Volyn showed more intense in their attack in the second half.The Ukranian side got their much deserved lead in the 63rdminutes. Memeshev brilliantly controlled Loginov’s pass and cleverly got away from a defender before curling it into the net.
Atletico scored in the dying minutes to deny Volyn from a win. Yago da Silva received a pass from Kaio Fernando and lashed it into the goal.
