Xtra Time Web Desk: Did Virat Kohli drop a hint he will travel to Zimbabwe? In a bid to get back to form ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 in UAE, Virat Kohli may travel to Zimbabwe for the three match ODI series. Kohli has revealed his desire to win the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2022, which is slated to take place in Australia in October.

Kohli wasn’t named in the limited-overs squads for the ongoing West Indies tour but is likely to be back for the Asia Cup which is scheduled to take place in UAE from the 27th of August to the 11th of September. The selectors have requested Kohli to travel to Zimbabwe in a bid to get his form back ahead of Asia Cup. In an interview to Star Sports, Kohli said he is ready to do anything that the team requires from him. It does indicate that he will be travelling to Zimbabwe to play the three match ODI series.

“My main aim is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup and for that I am ready to do anything for the team,” Kohli told in a statement released by Star Sports on Twitter.

The star Indian batter has been going through a rough patch and has been found struggling in recent time. He has not scored a century in international cricket since November 2019. In the recently concluded tour to England, Kohli failed miserably with his highest score being 17 in ODI series. With the T20 World Cup coming up this October, and the 50-over World Cup next year, Kohli’s form is always going to be crucial.
