Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain MS Dhoni is all set to make debut in Kollywood film industry. Dhoni’s production house named Dhoni Productions will produce a film starring South superstar Thalapathy Vijay. It is not clear whether it will be a joint venture between Dhoni and Vijay.
As per reports Dhoni is keen to start his journey as a film producer and has approached actor Vijay for the same. The actor has also accepted Dhoni’s request and the announcement of the new project Thalapathy 67 is expected to be made on the actor’s birthday on June 22.
Dhoni will not only produce the film, but he will also act in the Thalapathy 67. The CSK captain is supposed to play a cameo in the film. The news has already made Dhoni’s fans excited. Thala as he is fondly known in South is set to make his on-screen appearance.
The official announcement of the release date of the film will soon be made. The fans are already excited to see the on-screen presence of Vijay and Dhoni.
Dhoni is hugely popular in South India especially Tamil Nadu. He has been associated with IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings since the first season. He has led the franchise to four IPL titles.
