Kolkata: Mohun Bagan football team will be leaving for Hong Kong on Sunday midnight to play their AFC Cup match against South China AA on Wednesday. Mohun Bagan coach who has been banned by the AIFF recently for making harsh comments will able to accompany his team in the AFC Cup as it is an International tournament.

Meanwhile, Sony Norde seems to be very hopeful about Mohun Bagan’s chances in the AFC Cup. Sony quoted as saying, “I am very hopeful of Mohun Bagan’s chances in the AFC Cup. I believe we can be the Champions this season in the AFC Cup if we can continue performing well.”

But Sanjoy Sen is not thinking too far like Sony in the AFC Cup. The gaffer seems to be very cautious. He quoted as saying, “I am not thinking too far. My first priority is to overcome the group stage and for that I will plan match by match.”

Mohun Bagan officials have planned to appeal to the AIFF to decrease Sanjoy Sen’s punishment and they have already filed a draft and send it to the Federation office on Saturday.
