Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj is a huge fan of Portugese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Siraj often imitates Ronaldo’s signature ‘Siu’ celebration after taking wickets. On Friday he did the same when he cleaned up Travis Head early during the first ODI against Australia at Wankhede stadium.

On being asked what is the reason for such celebrations by fast bowling partner Mohammed Shami, Siraj replied, “I’m a huge Cristiano (Ronaldo) fan, which is why I celebrate like him. Whenever I’ve bowled a batter, I celebrate that way. Not when it is caught at fine leg or something.”

The senior paceman after listening to it suggested, “Ek advice hai… it’s a good thing that you are someone’s fan but as a fast bowler you should stay away from these jumps.”

Both Shami and Siraj took three wickets each to restrict Australia to 188 runs in the first ODI at Wankhede. Indian batters did find it tough chasing but KL Rahul and Jadeja combined well to stich an unbeaten century partnership to guide the team home with 5 wickets in hand and 61 balls remaining.
