Internet Desk: Luis Suarez has heaped further praise on his two Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi and Neymar, suggesting a mixture of him and the duo would represent the ultimate modern-day footballer. Luis Suarez would “love” to have Lionel Messi’s left foot and Neymar’s pace and joy for the game, the Barcelona striker has revealed.

Suarez helped Barcelona to a historic treble last season, and along with superstar South American teammates Messi and Neymar has put the club in position to repeat the feat in 2016.

The attacking trio have accounted for 94 goals this campaign already, blending their different talents to compose a near-unstoppable front line for the La Liga leaders, with Suarez contributing 41 in all competitions.

While accepting the award for Spanish news agency EFE’s best Latin American player on Monday, the 29-year-old Uruguayan acknowledged he is far from a finished product, and cited aspects of his teammates’ game he’d like to have for his own.

Despite collecting the individual honour, Suarez insisted he and his Barcelona teammates value collective goals first and foremost.

Suarez later revealed that he feels honoured and humbled to receive this award  and feels grateful to play beside Messi and Neymar.
