The former India captain has reportedly brought a new property worth a whopping 40 crore in the heart of Kolkata. Dada’s new residential address will be 8/1A Lower Rawdon Street. According to sources in the family, Sourav has been looking for such a property which is in a peaceful locality, away from the hustle and bustle as well it has good connectivity.
Who did Sourav buy the property from? The property is owned by city businesspersons Anupama Bagri, Keshav Das Binani and Nikunj Das Binani.
Talking about the property, it is spanned across 23.6-cottah plot. It is situated at the dead end of the road. It has a two storeyed building which is going to be reconstructed by Sourav. The property has a sprawling lawn as well.
Sourav has been staying at his ancestral home in Behala since his birth. 2/3 Biren Roy Road (E) has been a popular destination for cricket lovers. It will be an emotional experience for Sourav and his mother Nirupa. They will visit the old house in Behala occasionally.
Ganguly also has a property in Central London. He owns a sprawling flat overlooking the Thames River and London Eye. The family stays in the new flat whenever they are in London.
