Internet Desk : Argentine and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi have  expressed his desire to meet his 5 year old Afghan fan Murtaza Ahmadi . Afghanistan Football Federation have issued a statement that Messi would want to meet Murtaza . Five year old Murtaza  is a diehard fan of the Barcelona forward but couldn’t afford a jersey of him . A picture of Ahmadi wearing a plastic jersey of Messi went viral on the social media few days ago.

Murtaza hails from the remote Ghanzi region of Southern Afghanistan. It would be very difficult for Messi to come all the way to Afghanistan to meet Murtaza . The Spanish Embassy in Kabul said that they would do everything possible for the meeting. His elder brother Homayoun presented him the blue-and-white-striped plastic shirt with Messi’s name.

A AFF spokesman confirms that they received mails from FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi respectively regarding this meeting.

Meanwhile a Dubai Misdemeanours court sentenced a policeman for a month in prison for posting a video of Lionel Messi’s passport on social media. It is reported that the policeman was criticized for having criticized the telecommunications system. At last the policeman admitted his guilt and accepted that he had uploaded the video through his smartphone. The incident happened to be occurred in Dubai last December where Messi had to attend the Global Soccer Awards where he was awarded with the Best Player trophy. The Emirates Policeman wanted a photo with Messi but he denied as he was tired of long flight. He then confessed that he went to the passport control desk of Dubai international airport and found Messi’s passport on the table. So he picked it up and took a snap of it. He was then taken to the police sation and then the Dubai Misdemeanours court sentenced him for a month in prison. The policeman pleaded guilty from the court but the Judge denied. He pleaded the court to be lenient on him. But his appeal was in vain.
