XtraTime Web Desk: A refreshed and super-fit Neymar has flown back to France to begin preparations for Paris Saint-Germain's return to training later this month. According to the club’s official website, the Brazilian superstar left France in mid-March with the nation in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic to head to his native country. However, he touched down in France on Saturday — joined by a group of friends — with PSG due back in training on 22 June.

Fellow Brazilian Thiago Silva has made his return to France too, while Navas — who has been in Costa Rica — and Edinson Cavani — who was in Uruguay — are also due back before the French government make expected announcements, including potential quarantaine for non-EU arrivals, on 15 June.

Neymar is expected to spend a week at the golf club in Saint-Tropez near where teammates Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappé can also be found.

The Brazilian was spotted at a beach party with Victoria’s Secret model Angel Izabel Goulart. He was with his PSG teamman Marco Verratti. Neymar was seen wearing a matching shirt and shorts. He was also wearing a hat and sunglasses to protect him from the sun.

Neymar has been working hard while in Brazil, and has reportedly returned to France three kilos (6.6lbs) lighter than when he left. The 28-year-old scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in just 22 competitive appearances for PSG last season.
