Xtra Time Web Desk : A Megastar in world football, Lionel Messi has been struggling since making his move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The football star left Barcelona after the club fail to table an offer for the Argentine due to La Liga financial rules. Following which a few days later Lionel Messi announced signing for PSG.

With the deadly Argentine joining the Ligue 1 giants it looked like a deadly forward line for PSG on paper which all the team should fear to face. But it has not happed what the world expected to see as the three football stars Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi had delivered somewhat a disappointment.

Among those three only the Frenchman has been able to score goals week in and out, while Neymar and Messi made a very little contribution in terms of scoring goals. Lionel Messi currently in this season has scored six goals in 16 games before Christmas which is the lowest for him since 2007.

So, what has went wrong for one of the world’s best player who recently lifted his seventh Balon d’Or. It is still not sure if Messi is finding it hard to settle at his new club or having some issues with other star players in the team. But it is for sure that the PSG fans who expected to see him shine at their club have been disappointed.

However, we should not doubt the talent that Messi posses in himself he has the ability to turnaround a game by himself while this season he has five goals in the Champions League group stage. Hence we should wait and give more time to the living legend to show what he does the best, scoring marvelous goals and providing unthinkable assists for his side.
