Leaked: Virat Kohli’s conversation with Ravi Shastri discussing strategy for NZ batsman ahead of WTC Final
Xtra Time Web Desk: A leaked audio of the conversation between India captain Virat Kohli and Head Coach Ravi Shastri is going viral on social media. The incident happened before the start of the pre departure press conference on Wednesday. Both Virat and Shastri seemed watching the live match on the TV screen in the press conference room while discussing strategy how to tackle the Kiwi batsman ahead of the ICC World Test Championship final. They did not realize that the press conference was already Live.
In the audio, Kohli can be heard speaking- ‘hum inko round the wicket dalwayenge, Left handers hai inpe, Lala Siraj sabko start se hi laga denge.”
On the same comment, Ravi Shastri replied-“hmmn”
Here is the leaked audio from Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri’s presser.
Kohli was referring to Mohammed Shami (Lala) and Siraj, indicating both might get a chance to play the final of the WTC which will take place in a few days time from June 18. It will be interesting whether both get an opportunity to play against the BlackCaps or not.
India will take on New Zealand in the final of the ICC World Test Championship at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton starting from June 18.
