Virat Kohli likely to miss Delhi's Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra! but why?
Xtra Time Web Desk: Virat Kohli is dealing with a neck sprain and could miss Delhi’s upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra. Delhi is all set to face Saurashtra in the sixth Elite Group D match from January 23 to 26 in Rajkot. According to a report, Kohli had a neck sprain, and he even took an injection to help against it. But his play for Delhi is subject to availability.
“Virat Kohli had a neck sprain and even took an injection for the same. There is a possibility of him skipping the first of the two Ranji Trophy games left, and a clear picture could come if the DDCA selectors are given an update," a source was quoted.
As per a senior DDCA official, Kohli’s name will most likely be added to the squad with “subject to availability" next to it.

Kohli, who last played a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi in 2012, could train with Delhi teammates in Rajkot even if he doesn’t feature in the match.
The Delhi squad is scheduled to leave for Rajkot on Monday, January 20, and will have two training sessions before the match.
Star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has already confirmed his availability for the Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra, and some DDCA officials are expecting him to take part in the team’s second match against Railways as well.
