The Food Love! Find what Virat Kohli requests for lunch on Ranji Trophy return
Xtra Time Web Desk: Virat Kohli and his food love is a common pair! Be it Chole-Bhature or something else, Virat has always been on the top. Recently, Chef Sanjay Jha talked about Virat Kohli's food habits.
After returning to domestic, Virat has started practicing with his Delhi team. From sharing his experiences with youngsters to cracking jokes, he has been captured in all avtaars. Now foodie Virat has also grabbed the lens as he requested for chilli paneer at lunch on Day 1 of the Ranji Trophy clash between Delhi and Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Earlier, chilli chicken used to be Kohli’s favourite dish later he turned vegan. According to a Delhi and Districts Association official, Kohli had Chole poori. Sanjay Jha, the chef, who has known Kohli since his formative days, talked about Kohli.
He said to Sports Today, “I have been running a canteen for 25 years and I have known Virat Kohli from his childhood. He used to eat from our canteen. He started his career from here, but he doesn’t have any arrogance. Even today, he stays humble while talking to us and the waiters just how a normal person does."

“Earlier, chilli chicken used to be his favourite. Not only did he use to eat it, but he also recommended it to his teammates. Now he has chole bhature or kadhi chawal. Once I asked him if we should order something from outside, but he refused, saying that he wanted to have food from our canteen itself,” Sanjay Jha said.
Back in 2021, while conducting Ask me anything session, he shared his diet writing "Lots of vegetables, some eggs, 2 cups of Coffee, quinoa, lots of spinach, love dosas too. But all in controlled quantities."
