Xtra Time Web Desk:  Former India cricketer Suresh Raina showcased his exceptional batting skills once again during the Six60 Strikes tournament organized by the National Cricket League (NCL) in the United States. Despite retiring from international cricket in 2020, Raina proved that he remains a formidable force in the game while leading the New York Lions.

In a match held in Dallas, Raina put on a stunning display against Los Angeles Waves' captain Shakib Al Hasan, hitting two sixes and a four in a single over. Raina’s aggressive approach was evident as he danced down the track to Shakib, who had recently faced India in a two-Test series. The all-rounder struggled to contain Raina’s explosive batting, conceding 18 runs in that over alone.

Shakib, attempting to stabilize the innings, managed only 13 runs off 16 balls before being dismissed by Tabraiz Shamsi in the fourth over. Despite efforts from Adam Rossington and Tim David, the Waves fell short, concluding their innings at 107 for 7, 19 runs shy of the target. Raina’s explosive performance not only delighted fans but also reaffirmed his status as a key player in the tournament.
