Sachin Tendulkar and family meet President Droupadi Murmu at Rastrapati Bhavan, find why!
Xtra Time Web Desk: India great Sachin Tendulkar and his family met President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday for attending the Vimarsh Shrinkhala function alongside several other prominent figures and gave her his signed Indian Test jersey.
A video shared by ANI captured the moment featuring President Murmu's warm reception to the legend along with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara. It is not the first time Tendulkar has been invited at the President Bhavan. He has been there for multiple times for receiving awards.Â

Speaking at the event, Sachin highlighted how sports treat everyone equally. He said, "You might be in good form while someone else is not, or vice versa. As a team, you need to stick together through good and bad times. Trusting your partner is crucial."

"With Sehwag, he would often do the opposite of what I wanted. So if I wanted him to defend for a few overs, I would tell him, 'Viru, go and start blasting the bowlers.' He would then say, 'No paaji, I think I should defend for four overs first and then attack.' I had to say the opposite to get the best out of him, and I would smile, knowing I had achieved what I wanted," Tendulkar recalled.

"I called Yuvi for dinner and asked him why he seemed low on energy. He said, 'Paaji, I am not timing the ball well.' I told him to forget about batting and focus on fielding, setting small goals. I reassured him, saying, 'Yuvi, you will matter when it matters,' and soon, he had the spring back in his stride," Tendulkar concluded.
