Xtra Time Web Desk: It was Virat Kohli's comeback in domestic cricket after 13 years! A deep excitement was sensed among the fans as they gathered at the stadium in a lage number but Virat couldn't make his efforts count once again, being bowled out by Himanshu for just 6 runs off 15 balls!
Virat had to return early to the dressing room in his much-hyped as Himanshu grabbed lens. Coming to bat, Virat started off with a single. He was tested by the railway bowlers with some fine inside deliveries which he managed to play.
With Himanshu coming into the attack, Virat tried to step out of the crease and hit a delivery straight down the ground for his first boundary and the Delhi crowd went berserk. However, Himanshu was all ready to take his revenge on the very next delivery as Kohli again stepped out of his crease, but the ball came back in viciously after pitching and sneaked through the bat-pad gap to send the off-stump cart-wheeling all the way to the slips.

It was a pin-drop silence all over the stadium as the Delhi crowd was in a shock seeing a disappointed Kohli walking back towards the pavilion. On the other hand, it was Himanshu who grabbed all the attention with his wonderful delivery.
Let's make a look on Himanshu Sangwan's journey till now!
Himanshu born in Najafgarh. Making his List A debut in 2019 in Vijay Hazare Trophy for Delhi, he has always been on the top of the game with having his Twenty20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy in the same year.
Just like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he took worked as a ticket collector at the New Delhi Railway Station before his cricketing career took off. Sangwan trained under Australian fast-bowling great Glenn McGrath at MRF Pace Foundation, marking a significant growth in his career. Sangwan's development as a bowler was greatly aided by McGrath's advice, who placed a strong emphasis on patience and keeping to the fundamentals.
Talking about his training under McGrath, he stated, "I take inspiration from Australia legend Glenn McGrath. He is my idol. I learnt a lot from McGrath during my stint at the MRF Pace Foundation. I was there for a short camp in March (2019)."
Adding further, he said "He used to watch my videos and tell me the areas where I should improve. He is a legend of the game. He told me one thing – ‘when in trouble, go to the basics’,” Sangwan told Timesofindia.com in an exclusive interview.“I bowled many deliveries under his (McGrath's) supervision and he was taking notes. After every session, he used to motivate me and tell me technical things. ‘Stick to the basics and stay patient’ – these are the two things I will always remember from McGrath."
"Honestly, his guidance is helping me a lot in the Ranji Trophy,” Sangwan concluded.

Virat Kohli is not the first one who fall short against Himanshu. Earlier he put up an extraordinary effort at the Wankhede Stadium in a Ranji Trophy match against Mumbai where he claimed six wickets, picking Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane to help Railways defeat the 41-time Ranji winners by ten wickets.
Revealing about plans for both Shaw and Rahane, he told “We had a team meeting head of the Mumbai match. Our coach said we are not underdogs. We also have good batsmen and bowlers in the team. He said don’t think who is on strike. Whether it is Rahane or Shaw, go and bowl in the right areas."

"We bowled in the right areas and we got the success against a top team like Mumbai. It was a magnificent feeling to beat a top team and that too in their own den,” Sangwan said.
“I knew Prithvi is an attacking player. He will always look to attack. So I didn’t panic and bowled in some specific areas, with change of pace. This worked well against Prithvi. But when Rahane came to the crease, the thought of him being one of the best Test batsmen in the world crossed my mind.He is India’s No. 3 and vice captain of the Indian team. I bowled in the right areas and wanted him to play the outside-off- stump deliveries. That’s how I got him. I had plans for both Rahane and Prithvi,” the 24-year-old fast bowler said.
“My coach Harvinder Singh sir and captain Karn Sharma have helped me a lot. They sit and make plans and those plans have worked well in our favour. In my opinion, our bowling attack is capable of doing wonders against top teams. Our matches against Mumbai and UP are examples of this. I am getting a lot of support from my fellow pacer T Pradeep. He is a talented bowler,” Sangwan told.
Concluding on the topic, he stated, "I performed well last year in the Under-23 tournament (CK Nayudu Trophy), where I claimed 37 wickets in seven matches. Due to that, I got a chance in the Ranji Trophy this year. I am enjoying my bowling a lot. When I made my debut, I didn’t know I will take four wickets and that too against a team like Uttar Pradesh. I took two wickets in the next match (against Saurashtra) and then six wickets against a top team, Mumbai.
