Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Kuldeep Yadav returns to action for UP in clash against MP
Xtra Time Web Desk: Kuldeep Yadav has been named in Uttar Pradesh’s squad for their upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh, set to take place at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore from Thursday. The left-arm spinner is making a return to competitive cricket after undergoing hernia surgery, having last played in October 2024. His most recent appearance for India was in the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru.
While neither UP nor MP are in contention for the knockout stage, this match provides Kuldeep with an opportunity to regain match fitness ahead of the three-match ODI series against England, beginning on February 6. He has been included in India’s squad for that series and is also part of the provisional 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy.
