Xtra Time Web Desk: Rumors of marriage linked to double Olympic bronze medalist Manu Bhaker were dismissed by her father, who emphasized that she is "still very young" and not of marriageable age. His comments followed the viral spread of videos showing Bhaker and her mother chatting with Neeraj Chopra after the Paris Olympics 2024, which sparked speculation on social media. Bhaker's father also clarified that Neeraj is regarded as a son by Bhaker’s mother.

Regarding similar rumors about Neeraj Chopra, his uncle stated that just as Neeraj’s Olympic achievements were widely celebrated, any future marriage would also be public knowledge.

Both Manu Bhaker and Neeraj Chopra have made India proud with their performances at the Olympics. Bhaker, 22, secured two bronze medals in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event and the team event with Sarabjot Singh at the Paris Olympics.

Although she narrowly missed out on a third medal in the women’s 25m Pistol event, finishing fourth, Bhaker became the first Indian woman to win multiple medals in a single edition of the Olympics and served as India's flag-bearer in the closing ceremony.

Neeraj Chopra, on the other hand, became the first Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals in track and field, securing a silver medal in men's javelin at the Paris Olympics, following his gold medal victory in Tokyo. In the final, Chopra achieved a throw of 89.45 meters, placing second to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who set an Olympic record with a throw of over 92 meters.
