In the semifinal, his battle was against a tough opponent. He lost in straight sets to the second seed, Viktor Axelsen, with scores of 22-20, 21-14. He fought hard in the first set for a long time. Although there was a loss of rhythm in the second set, he had started well in both sets.

However, even though he lost the match, he still has a chance to win the bronze. On Monday, Lakshya will compete for the bronze medal against Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia.
