Xtra Time Web Desk: India’s star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has lauded Jasprit Bumrah as a “once-in-a-generation” bowler. Ashwin praised Bumrah's performance at the recent T20 World Cup, highlighting him as one of the key positives for Team India. Bumrah, who is set to rejoin the Indian squad, has been named in the Test team for the upcoming series against Bangladesh, beginning on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

In an interview on Vimal Kumar’s YouTube channel, Ashwin remarked on India’s historical focus on batting and expressed his admiration for Bumrah’s contributions to Indian cricket. “India has always been a batsman-dominated country, and that’s unlikely to change.
