Both teams have overcome numerous challenges throughout the season to reach this pivotal match, aiming to etch their names in the annals of IPL history.

However, the highly anticipated final is under a cloud of uncertainty due to the warnings of Cyclone Remal. Echoing the weather disruptions faced in last year's final, there is a looming threat of rain playing spoilsport once again.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a low-pressure system has formed over the Bay of Bengal, which is anticipated to escalate into a severe cyclonic storm. The cyclone is projected to make landfall in Bangladesh and parts of India on May 26. Although Chennai is not currently in the cyclone's direct path, the city might still experience sudden showers due to the storm's influence.

Accuweather, a private weather forecasting service, has predicted a 10% chance of rain in Chennai on Saturday, with the probability decreasing to 4% on Sunday, the day of the final.
