"The rest of the members of the Playing XI, including the Impact Player, were each individually fined either INR 12 lakhs or 50 percent of their respective match fees, whichever is lesser," the release added

MI concluded their disappointing season with an 18-run loss to the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday, May 17. This defeat left MI at the bottom of the 10-team table.

Pandya's fine and suspension come after his third slow over rate offense this season, which occurred during the 67th match of the IPL 2024. As a result, he was fined Rs 30 lakh and received a one-game ban. His previous infractions included a Rs 12 lakh fine for a slow over rate against the Punjab Kings and another fine for a similar offense against the Super Giants on April 30.

The suspension will be enforced at the start of the next IPL season, as the match against LSG was MI's final game of the current season.
