IPL 2024: KKR deletes Rohit's viral chat video with Abhsihek Nayar, but the damage is already done!
Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai Indians prepare to take on the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2024 clash at Eden Gardens. An intriguing video surfaced on social media where Rohit Sharma could be seen being involved in an intense chat with KKR's assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.
Though there was plenty of background noise, it didn't take long for fans to find out what exactly was spoken between Rohit and Nayar.
Rohit and Nayar were heard talking about 'things changing' in the clip. In a phrase that has caught the attention of the netizens, Rohit towards the end of the video can be heard saying that "it's his last". While there is no context to the video, fans feel that the two were talking about the current situation at the MI camp after the team became the first team to get eliminated from the race to the IPL 2024 Playoffs after Hardik Pandya replaced Rohit as the skipper before the start of the season.

The last line that could be heard in the video was: "Bhai mera kya mera to ye last hai (brother, this is my last anyway)".

A few days ago, a report emerged suggesting that multiple senior players in the Mumbai Indians team aren't happy with Hardik Pandya's captaincy. In fact, the senior stars also reportedly said that Hardik's style of captaincy doesn't create the required 'buzz' in the MI dressing room.

Meanwhile, Rohit's current IPL 2024 form is a bit of concern not only for MI who would want him to fire so that he can finish the season on a high but also from Team India's perspective where he will be back as the captain at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He currently has 320 runs from 12 innings but much of those runs came in the first half of the season, including a century against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
