Xtra Time Web Desk: Ravindra Jadeja achieved a significant milestone by claiming his 300th Test wicket during the match against Bangladesh in Kanpur. He emulated cricket legends Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin, becoming the third Indian to reach this landmark. Jadeja secured the final wicket of the Bangladesh innings, dismissing Khaled Ahmed as the visitors were bundled out for 233 runs on Day 4.

With this achievement, Jadeja also became the fastest Asian and the second-fastest player overall to reach the elite double of 3,000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket, trailing only England's Ian Botham. His 300th wicket places him among the elite company of the seventh Indian bowler to achieve this feat.
