A superb over from Axar Patel comes to an end. Not a single boundary in the over and a wicket. This has helped India stem the flow of runs and remove one of the best white-ball batters in the world.

The rain has stopped and we have a major update. The match officials are set to hold their next inspection at 8:30 PM IST. The players are out at the moment and are doing some light warm-up.
There is no rain at the moment. The sky looks better than before. However, the umpires haven't made anything official about the toss time. The grounstaff is having a look at the outfield. It is very important that the umpires ensure good playing conditions before they start. Keep in mind, the final will be played on Saturday and both teams wouldn't want any injuries due to the wet outfield.

If the match does not start at the scheduled time, what happens?
The scheduled start of the match is 8 PM IST.
India vs England, semi-final, can be a full 20-over game even if the match starts at 12:10 AM.
For a curtailed 10-over match, the game needs to start by 1:44 AM. Beyond that, the game will be called no-contest and India will qualify for the final of the tournament, as there is no reserve day.
