Xtra Time Web Desk: India Captain Rohit Sharma has delivered a bold answer for his and Virat Kohli's critics asking for their retirement as he cleared all doubts stating both men won't be retiring anytime soon after India's Champions Trophy win on Sunday, March 9.
Rohit and Kohli played key roles making the route easy for India to get Champions Trophy triumph in Dubai. With the Indian skipper scoring a fluent 76 in final against New Zealand and Kohli scored 218 runs in 5 matches for the tournament, including a hundred against Pakistan, both silenced their critics in the best possible way.

After victory over New Zealand by 4 wickets, Rohit Sharma hits out all rumours while addressing the press. He stated, “Koi future plan ni hai. Jo chal ra hai wo chalega (There’s no future plan, things will keep on going as they are). I'm not going to retire from this format. Just to make sure that no rumours are spread moving forward."
Hinting about future, Virat Kohli told that he wants to leave the Indian team in a better position when he finally decides to step away from the game."I try to speak to these guys as much as possible, share my experience about my longevity. I try to step in wherever I can to help improve their games. When you want to leave, you want to leave the game in a better position. That's what we are striving for," said Kohli.
