Xtra Time Web Desk: Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso has recently made headlines, not only for her performance at the Paris Olympics 2024 but also due to her controversial departure from the Games Village.
Alonso, who competed in the 100m butterfly event but did not advance past the heats, was asked to leave the village due to "inappropriate" behaviour. Reports suggest that her wearing of "skimpy clothing" and socializing with other athletes, as well as a visit to Disneyland, contributed to the decision.

In a recent interview on Aire de Todos, Alonso shared a personal anecdote about Brazilian football star Neymar Jr. She revealed that Neymar once sent her a direct message, although she did not respond immediately as the message was left in her request folder.
Alonso chose not to disclose the content of the message.

Meanwhile, Neymar is currently recovering from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since last year. After undergoing surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, he missed the previous Copa America and much of the 2023 season.
Al-Hilal’s coach Jorge Jesus indicated that Neymar is expected to make a return in September. Despite his absence, Al-Hilal secured the Saudi league title.
