The LALIGA Youth Tournament under  process 

Xtra Time Web Desk:The LALIGA Youth Tournament, recognized as the world's first LaLiga-licensed youth competition, is set to take place from July 11th to 14th, 2024, in Malaysia. This prestigious event will feature elite youth teams from various countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Maldives, India, Thailand, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Participants will compete across six age groups: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and the newly introduced Under 21.

The tournament aims to provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their football talents while promoting friendship and cultural exchange among participants.

Bhawanipore FC Proindia Football Academy will be the first team from India to compete in the Under 14 category. The squad, consisting of 15 players, three coaches, one physio, two officials, and one tour manager, is partnered with Minerva Academy for this tournament.

With the technical support of Miguel Casal, Technical Director of LaLiga Academy Schools India, the team has prepared diligently for this international challenge. Casal expressed optimism about the team's readiness, stating, "The team is ready to experience a competitive environment abroad and challenge their skills to perform. This kind of exposure will boost their learning process and benefit their development as players."

Aparup Chakraborty, CEO and Co-founder of Bhawanipore FC Proindia Academy, emphasized the dual benefits of this opportunity, saying, "We are not only giving exposure to the youth talents but also providing an opportunity for our Bhawanipore FC academy coaches. This will be a test of their skills as we can all see the real implementation of their tactical approach on a global stage."
