Xtra Time Web Desk: Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant achieved a remarkable milestone on Friday, 12^th April, by becoming the third youngest player to score 3000 runs in the IPL. Pant's explosive innings of 41 runs from just 24 balls against the Lucknow Super Giants not only propelled his team to a second victory of the season but also lifted them to the 9th position in the standings.

The left-handed batsman reached the milestone on the final delivery of the 12th over, smashing Marcus Stoinis for a boundary. Pant's innings showcased an impressive array of shots, including his trademark scoops over third man and fine leg.

Remarkably, Pant now ranks as the third youngest player to reach the 3000-run mark in the IPL, following in the footsteps of Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. Additionally, he holds the third-highest strike rate among the 25 batters who have surpassed 3000 runs, with an impressive rate of 148.4, trailing only AB De Villiers (151.68) and Chris Gayle (148.96).
