Dhoni, whose left leg was heavily strapped during the match against arch-rivals MI, found it challenging to navigate the stadium's stairs due to soreness.

Raina, who was fulfilling his broadcast duties for the highly anticipated IPL 2024 clash between MI and CSK, stood by Dhoni's side as the CSK players made their way out of the stadium towards the team bus after the intense encounter. A heartwarming video capturing Raina's supportive gesture towards a limping Dhoni quickly went viral on social media platforms. Despite his discomfort, Dhoni appeared grateful as he tapped Raina's back in appreciation before acknowledging the fans with a wave.

Having grappled with knee issues over the past few years, the 42-year-old former India captain underwent surgery after leading CSK to victory in IPL 2023. Despite visible signs of discomfort, Dhoni's on-field performance has been unwavering. During the match against MI, he showcased his prowess by smashing 20 runs off just 4 balls, including three consecutive sixes off Hardik Pandya in the final over, propelling the Super Kings to a formidable total of 206 runs.
