Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India had penalised both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir for their heated exchange on the ground after Monday’s IPL game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

LSG Mentor Gautam Gambhir has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Gambhir admitted to the Level 2 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

RCB star batter Virat Kohli has also been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the IPL 2023 match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.

Kohli admitted to the Level 2 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Lucknow Super Giants’ Bowler Naveen-ul-Haq has been also fined 50 per cent of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the IPL 2023 match against RCB. Naveen admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
