BGT 2024-25: Will rain interrupt the game in Perth? Here is the possibilities!
Xtra Time Web Desk: The India vs Australia clash will begin at Optus Stadium on Friday. However, the day before the big battle, the sky looks ominous, which is not a positive sign. According to the local weather department, there is a possibility of rain during the first two days of the Perth Test. Rain was observed on Wednesday as well, and the forecast indicates cloudy skies on match day. There is a 20-34% chance of rain on the first day, which could disrupt the match after it starts.
Apart from the weather, the pitch could also be a cause for concern. Typically, cracks start to appear on the pitch at Optus Stadium from the third day onwards, and conditions become increasingly difficult for the batters over the following three days. However, rain is also expected on the night before the match in Perth, which will likely alter the condition of the pitch and the field. In such a scenario, the captain of the winning toss may opt to field first.
