Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the squads for the highly anticipated Duleep Trophy, marking the start of India’s domestic red-ball cricket season. The tournament is set to kick off on September 5 in Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) and Bengaluru.
Team A
will be led by Shubman Gill, with a squad featuring notable names such as Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, and Shivam Dube. The team also includes promising talents like Riyan Parag and Vidwath Kaverappa, along with experienced bowlers like Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna.

Team A
will be captained by Abhimanyu Easwaran. This squad boasts a mix of experienced players and young talent, including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Rishabh Pant. All-rounders Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja are also set to make significant contributions, with Mohd Siraj and Yash Dayal spearheading the pace attack. Notably, Nitish Kumar Reddy’s participation is contingent on fitness.
Team C
will be under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad. The squad includes promising players such as Sai Sudharsan and Suryakumar Yadav, alongside experienced wicketkeeper Abishek Porel. The team also features an array of bowlers, including Umran Malik and Vyshak Vijaykumar, aiming to make a strong impact.
Team D
will be captained by Shreyas Iyer and includes a mix of experienced and up-and-coming players. Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan, and Axar Patel are among the key players. The squad also includes a strong bowling lineup with Arshdeep Singh and Tushar Deshpande, alongside all-rounder Saransh Jain and wicketkeeper KS Bharat.
