Internet Desk : Valencia twice  came from behind to hold Real Madrid 2-2. Madrid had a chance to catch up with Barcelona who drew against Espanyol earlier but a late equalizer from Paco Alcacer ruined the cause.

Gary Neville who is still searching for his first win as a Valencia coach had played their best match in recent times. Pressure mounts on Rafa Benitez who was already in the news after losing the El Classico earlier.

Karim benzema drew the first blood when Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo combined a beautiful move and Benzema coolly finished it  at the 16th minutes. Valencia equalized on the stroke of the half time Through Dani Parejo who converted a penalty as Madrid defender Pepe fouled Andre Gomes inside the box. Valencia could have a early equalizer but Aymen Abdennour missed a sitter.

Real are currently now on 3rd place with 37 points four points behind leader Atletico Madrid and 2 points behind 2nd placed Barcelona who have a game in their hands.
