XtraTime Web Desk: Strikes from Vinicius and Sergio Ramos helped Real Madrid beat Real Mallorca 2-0 in La Liga at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on Tuesday night. The win put Los Blancos back at the pole position with 68 points from 31 games. This was the fourth straight win for Zinedine Zidane’s men since returning to the pitch after the restart. Mallorca on the other hand is staring at a relegation with 26 points from 31 games.

History was made at the Alfredo di Stefano as Mallorca’s Luka Romero became the youngest debutant in La Liga at 15 years and 219 days. The Mexican beats the previous LaLiga record held by Sanson, who played for Celta Viga at the age of 15 years and 255 days in the 1939/40 season. Romero was brought in the 84th minute of the match.

Real Madrid took the lead in the 19th minute through Vinicius. The Brazilian collected a pass from Luka Modric and stepped in front of Bale to take a powerful shot to find the back of the net. Sergio Ramos doubled the lead for the home team in the 56th minute with a brilliant curling free kick that went over the Mallorca wall and the outstretched hands of Reina to go inside.

Barcelona will now have to win their away match against Celta Vigo on June 27 to snatch the top position back.
