Internet Desk: India skipper Virat Kohli was happy with his team’s performance in the third ODI and said that in next two matches their might be some changes in the side. Teenager Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik and Mohammed Shami are yet to play a game on the Caribbean soil.

“We will surely look into (making changes). We have quite a few players who haven’t had a game in a while,” Kohli assured that everyone would get a fair chance.

Kohli admitted that it was a good toss to win.

“I think it was a clinical performance again. Early on, there was quite a bit of moisture, it was a good toss to win, and they bowled really well. It was a good batting effort to get us to 250.”

“The wicket played much better in the second innings. The bowlers created pressure and got breakthroughs at the right moments. It’s about putting your hand up at the right time, its about how many people can stand up and put in those performances,” added Kohli.

Many critics have started saying that Ajinkya Rahane is not an idle limited overs player but Rahane never lost his self confidence in his ability despite he didn’t feature in the 50-over format for a long time.

Rahane scored 62, 103 and 72 as an opener in the ongoing Windies tour in absence of another star opener Rohit Sharma and is ready to make that chance count.

“Not at all,” Rahane said emphatically when asked if he had started doubting his abilities after being out of playing XI in ODIs.

“It was a matter of getting good runs and getting it consistently, I was waiting for this chance. I want to thank Virat (Kohli) and team management as they gave me an opportunity to bat at top of the order,” Rahane told media persons at the post-match press conference.
