Kolkata:
It was 2nd September, the entire Kolkata Maidan first came forward to extend their hands of contributions to help the victims of the devastating flood in Kerala, with XtraTime and then PR Solutions took the responsibility to unite the Maidan and deliver the amount to the cause. On Wednesday, football legends from Kerala like  IM Vijayan and M Suresh handed over the entire amount of money to the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala Mr Pinarayi Vijayan.

Thousands of people became homeless, the legends of Indian football from Kerala, like IM Vijayan, Dinesh Nair, M Suresh and Jo Paul Anchery responded to the cause alongside the former greats of Kolkata and Indian football, like Debjit Ghosh, Basudev Mondal, Amit Bhadra and so on. They also played an intriguing football match at the Kalyani Stadium. Despite so many impediments of the police, XtraTime managed to collect in about Rs.21,600 during the Kolkata Derby. The entire amount of money was counted by the sports management students of IISWBM on a Facebook live and later on Greymind Communications Pvt Ltd Director Anilava Chatterjee personally and also from the company fund added some more money to make it Rs.50,000 in total and handed it over to IM Vijayan, Dinesh Nair and M Suresh in the presence of PR Solutions supremo Partha Acharya, who organized the famed legends’ game at Kayani. IM Vijayan told XtraTime, “Thanks for all the love and help. We have got so much love from the city of joy and this perhaps something which people of Kerala will remember for a long time.”

In an interaction with xtratime.in, Partha Acharya of PR Solutions told, “I had this schooling from XtraTime only. When I used to work for this esteemed brand, I learned this practice of extending the hands of support to such situations. In the past, we have seen many event management groups organize matches of such to raise their own funding to find a way of earning money. Here, right from the outset, we made it clear, that the contributions will directly be at the address of the relief fund of the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala. We raised a good amount of Rs.10.5 lakh and the money is handed over to the Honourable CM on Wednesday. We want to do more work like these in future.”
