Kassim Aidara supports Johnny Acosta, hits back at Quess East Bengal

XtraTime Web Desk: Kassim Aidara is feeling very depressed and he has reasons too. The Senegalese-French footballer was staying with Johnny Acosta during the lockdown. But the Costa Rican World Cupper left for home on Monday. Acosta shared his angst against the Quess East Bengal management for delaying his trip back home. Supporting his former East Bengal teammate Aidara shared an emotional message on instagram too.

The instagram post of Aidara read, “I close a cycle of my life, this time a little different. In a great institution to which I have a lot of love and respect, @Quess East Bengal Fc, but that in the end there were contract and salary issues that failed to comply, in addition to little help for my return to Costa Rica where the club showed little disposition and apathetic to my situation! I keep the good times and I thank all the fans who always show their support I carry them in my heart, thank you @eastbengalfc”

Aidara joined East Bengal from Minerva Pinjab couple of seasons back. Quess East Bengal management wanted to release Aidara last season but due to non availability of a well built defensive midfielder, Coach Alejandro Menendez Garcia decided to retain him. Most of the foreign recruits of the club left back for home as the I League got suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. But poor Aidara and Acosta were forced to stay back in Kolkata.
