Kapil Dev on road to recovery, flashes thumbs up from his hospital bed
Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain Kapil Dev is recovering well after undergoing an angioplasty operation on Friday. The legendary all rounder was admitted at Fortis hospital in South Delhi after suffering a heart attack. Kapil’s long time friend and team-mate Chetan Sharma shared a picture of the world cup winning captain showing his both thumbs up from his hospital bed with a bright smile. Kapil’s daughter Amya seated next to the bed is also seen in the picture shared by Sharma.
Chetan captioned the picture, “Kapil Pa ji is OK now and is sitting with his daughter Amya, Jai Mata Di.”
The 61 year old Dev, according to a bulletin from Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute Hospital in south Delhi on Friday, was in the Intensive Care Unit and would be discharged in a couple of days.
